My pictures are cosy, simple and light. Sessions are quick and very productive, easy and spontaneous with a bit of planning beforehand. No posing, only natural expressions while having fun and enjoying the process. After you booked the session we will discuss the place, style, clothing and the vision of the shoot. While working during natural day light the best option is to shoot in the nature, parks, at your home (if it’s light and airy) or any other location. Attention to details and locations with big windows. During the shoot at your home I might move some furniture around and make a bit of the mess while finding the best lighting. The most beautiful photos are during – sunrise and sunset.
Yes, Please! The travel expenses covered by the client.
Rest and eat before the shoot. Bad mood? Don’t feel well? Bad weather? Not an issue. The session can be rescheduled as we want the best results. Getting ready for the shoot… There are a few important nuances while getting ready for the shoot. First of all, clothes are very important part of the successful photoshoot. The outfit should be comfortable and do not restrict your movements. Start with simple colour palette and follow it, light pastel colours or striking details looks good in pictures. The most important that colours goes together, but not everything has to match. Also, you can choose original outfits, the ones you wear on special occasions. Natural textures such as jeans, silk, cotton look good in pictures. Dark colour outfits should go with light or bright details. It’s not recommended to wear only white or black, clothes with brand names or texts, colourful and patter mixtures. Accessories should be larger and more visible. Scarves, hats, flowers in the hair, ribbons, sweaters, vests, jackets – all these things will add extra detail to your pictures. Don’t forget about shoes, it is also very important part of the outfit.
The boys always look good in jeans, girls in summer dresses. The best way to shoot newborns is without any clothes, wrapped into cocoon, using playful hats, scarves. Polka dots, squares, lines, little flowers, bright and pastel colours look great in pictures. There is nothing cuter than little newborn feet and hands, lips and messy hair. It is very important to captures this as early as possible. The best time for newborn photoshoot is the first 2 weeks, as the smaller the baby the easier is to move them and put in certain positions. Usually it takes around 2 hours, so you have plenty of time to change, feed and put them to sleep. The room should be kept warm.
Having a baby will be one of the most momentous events of your life and something that you will want to cherish. Maternity photography is a great way to mark this event. After all, this will be your very first family photograph. 32-36 weeks is the best time to capture the pregnancy. Please, choose clothes which show your growing belly, i.e., tight dress, shirt and jeans, underwear. It’s a good idea to bring clothes, knitted socks, toys or a cot. Anything else you could think of to make it special just for you.
I always meet the couple! There is always a vast amount of questions regarding your big day. I will capture your amazing love story through to getting to know you better. I always get a question:
What can you shoot in 8-12 hours?
Well… let’s have a look..
